The Blue Port Project (a project of the WILDTRUST) aims to create action-based research and implementation of strategic interventions to reduce plastic waste in the Durban Port and ultimately restore the Durban Bay to its natural functioning state.

Moken Guardians of the Sea
Moken Guardian of the Sea reduces the amount of plastic waste entering the sea. The Foundation Jan & Oscar runs a plastic sorting facility allowing fishermen to bring and sell plastic. It also provides education for students, employment and income opportunities for local precarious minorities.
